NETWORKING Relationship Management - NRM


Networking Relationship Management (or NRM) is a tool designed for any business which relies on referrals for customer generation.  It seeks to manage all the relationships formed by businesses, recognizing:
  1. the multiplicity of roles that contacts fulfill; and
  2. the reality that contacts exist only once in a vast network of interconnected relationships.

Unlike Customer Relationship Management systems (or CRM), Networking Relationship Management appreciates that not all customers are derived from existing customers.  Significant business may be derived from contacts who are not customers at all but are connected in some other way, for example your accountant, your partner’s cousin, or your golfing buddy’s boss’ wife.

The more you know about your entire network of contacts, not just Customers, the more effectively you can communicate, generate more referrals and make your business more valuable.
