Sending E-mailsworks the same way too. You can send an E-mail to multiple recipients from a ‘Diary Note’ or the ‘Mail-Merge Wizard’. You can send an E-mail to a single recipient from the Menu Bar, Tool Bar, or by clicking on an E-mail Address, anywhere in the system. All Methods enable you to send either a Custom or Standard Email at the click of a button – using Microsoft Word. As you can see these can be as highly formatted as you like. As with Letters and Faxes, GEM can make a Diary of every E-mail sent, add a Category to each recipients record and set a reminder for any follow-up required. If you do choose to send either a Standard Letter or Fax, GEM will use exactly the same WORD Template that it uses to send the correponding letter using Mail-Merge. This means there is no need to maintain two sets of templates; one for individual documents, the other for mail-merged documents. |
