Import OptionsYou can create your database quickly by importing any Names and Addresses that you already have from any existing System that is ODBC compliant, which is just about anything these days. Data is imported via Microsoft Excel so that it can be corrected prior to import if necessary, as we find that data in legacy systems is often of variable quality.You can also extend your database using data supplied by any of our 'Data Partners' to create a Database for any Business Sector or area of the country, and you can Update their details monthly – if required. Most other systems have a data import routine that enables you to do a one-off data import. Most do not have the complex logic required to determine whether the business already exists in your database and therefore update the existing record rather than add a duplicate record – GEM does! Making ContactBecause GEM is the easiest way for everyone to originate every communication they will want to use it - as it saves them time.
