Categories GEM has a unique system of Hierarchical Categories that you can adapt to your own purposes. You can assign anyone a Primary Business Category. However the Categories Tab enables you to add as many Categories as you like. The Tree-view button, enables you to see the hierarchical nature of GEM’s Categories. This displays the Select Category Window, which shows you that you can add Categories for many different purposes. As you can see, you can use Categories to keep track of potential customers moving through a sales process – or any other purpose you care to devise. Expanding ‘Business Categories’ will reveal all of Yellow Pages’ inbuilt ‘Business Classifications’. Hierarchical Categories make it much easier to select everyone in 'Business Services', for example, as this will automatically select everybody in all of its subcategories as well.
