FIND and Mail-Merge GEM’s FIND Form enables you to find anyone’s Record, from any scrap of information about them – even if you don’t know their name.
You can also select Groups based on any Criteria for: • Marketing Campaigns or • Newsletters
The Groups can be selected using multiple criteria, without the need to resort to complex Boolean logic – simply by dragging and dropping. The ‘Queries’ thus created can also be saved in a Library for re-use later on. Once selected, the Groups can be used for a Mail-Merge to send out personalised Emails, Faxes or Letters.
GEM’s highly sophisticated Mail-Merge enables you to:
| • | Use your favourite Word Processor to send hundreds or thousands of personalised E-mails, Faxes, Letters or Mailing Labels to every individual selected for Marketing Campaigns or Newsletters, |
| • | Send by the most cost effective method for each recipient, be it - E-mail, Fax or Letter, |
| • | Count the items of mail to be sent by each method, |
| • | Allow you to change, delete, and sort the generated addresses prior to use. |
Mail-Merge WizardGEM can use its knowledge of Relationships to: • Send to alternative Addresses • Prevent multiple mailings to the same Address, • Prevent multiple mailings to the same recipient at different Addresses.
All of which, can be recorded in a single Diary Note, cross-referenced by subject, author, every recipient and all of their employers, which of course remain cross-referenced to everyone involved – even if people leave their current employers.
If you have MS Word on your machine then GEM goes even further. As it makes use of the same ‘SEND E-Mail’, ‘SEND Fax’ and ‘SEND Letter’ Forms that it uses to send individual E-mails, Faxes and Letters to select from the same library of Templates, assign Categories make Diary Notes and so on. So there is nothing else to learn. The only difference is this time the same, individually customised Email, Fax or Letter will be sent to ALL the Recipients identified in the Mail-Merge.
When Word opens all you have to do is click either: Merge to E-mail, Merge to Printer, Merge to Fax, as appropriate. It even tells you what to do in the Title Bar. That’s considerably easier than doing a normal Mail- Merge in MS Word!…
