On2it Software Ltd is a unique company. It doesn’t accept convention and asks instead – Why Not? To be truly innovative requires courage – courage to throw out the rule book, courage to take the path not forged and courage to continue in the face of unknown and ever changing obstacles. On2it Software Ltd is a specialist software development company of "NETWORKING Relationship Management" systems, (also referred to by the software industry as Network Relationship Management). Its vision is to help small to medium sized businesses, who rely on referrals, to manage their business relationships and networks to prosper and grow. The Story So Far On2it began in 1984 as “Computer Solutions Ltd”, the first computer support company located in Taupo, New Zealand. A tourist mecca, Taupo’s great claims to fame are trout fishing and outdoor adventures. Not exactly a budding silicon valley – and Computer Solutions had no such grand aspirations either. As often happens, a unique set of circumstances set the wheels in motion for a complete change of direction for Computer Solutions. New owners in 1995 a fresh injection of expertise in software development. The new team of software developers came with experience in: • large scale linear programming • relational database design, and • systems analysis and design. As the staff grew, the focus on software development intensified such that by 2001 the name was changed to reflect what the company was really about – On2it Software Ltd. Thereafter On2it said goodbye to the Great Lake and established a prescence in both Auckland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia - with Canada, UK and USA to follow. Our Mission On2it’s mission is to become the worldwide market leader in Business 'NETWORKING Relationship Management' systems. To get there we know we will have to deliver two things: 1. Our Software Must Deliver Results. Period! You won’t find us blaming you, your management team, your staff or the alignment of the planets if you aren’t entirely happy with the results.
